The doctor took the time to explain the medications, one I had never taken, to me and to stress the importance of finishing them. "My name is Kevin, and I brought my 2-year-old son to see you. He was suffering from what appeared to be upper respiratory problems, which you correctly diagnosed as croup. He wasn't the easiest patient, as we had to restrain him to give him his IV, take his x-rays, and give him his breathing treatment, but that was due to the fact that he was sick, deliriously tired, and frustrated (as any 2-year-old would be) from not being able to sleep and all the fuss being made about him.
I am writing this e-mail to thank you for the incredible care we received from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. Through my many experiences as a patient and a father of one I or my family have not seen such customer service from every aspect the way we did at your hospital. The entire staff there was equal parts kind, caring, and understanding to our situation and especially understanding to Joshua's frustration. Even through his difficult treatments your staff did not get frustrated, but simply spoke to him calmly and assuring. I can assure you that your efforts to create a quality care center have not gone unnoticed or unappreciated.
